Awesome host! She was very detailed and thorough in her descriptions of places and history. She also took tons of photos for us and she was flexible about giving us options to adjust the itinerary a bit.

This bike experience was the perfect way to start our trip to Tokyo! As first time travelers to Japan, our guide Mai’s expertise helped us learn the history and culture of many prominent land marks in Shinjuku.

Great active way to see Shinjuku! I love that they do small groups because you feel like it’s very personal and you can ask as many questions as you’d like! Lovely lunch spot and great to see the local places as well.

It was definitely highlight in my trip to Tokyo. My brother who joined this tour in last Feb, recommended this tour, so me and my mom joined this tour and really enjoyed the bike ride with detailed explanation about Japanese history and attraction. Big thanks to Mei, Hiro, and Seiji! I recommend this tour for all ages. They went to above and beyond to make sure my mom felt safe on her bike ride.

Thank you to Mai for taking us on this tour! This was a great way to cover a lot of sites in Shinjuku and get an orientation of the area. We also learned a lot of information about the history and culture of the sites we visited. Mai was also fantastic at taking photos at the sites and during the ride.

Strongly recommended for those who want to explore Shinjuku in a none touristy way. The host Mai is knowledgeable and personable. It was a great experience. Also highly recommended for people who can’t walk for too long. The bike makes it a lot easier.

This is a great way to explore a Tokyo neighborhood a bit differently! The guides are thoughtful, knowledgeable, and fun. You get to do a good mix of biking, walking, and talking. Also, part of the proceeds of this tour go to a local food bank.

Very fun and a great way to see many sights in one day! Mai messaged us to reschedule because our original day was rainy, so we were able to do it on a clear and sunny day instead. She was very flexible and let us personalize the trip as well.

This experience was better than I expected and I had decent expectations. The ride was easy and safe even in traffic. Even though we were running behind, we never felt rushed and Mai was willing to wait for us to do our shopping :) we had a lot of fun sightseeing and learning about the history. Very informative, especially for Meiji.

10/10 tour. Not a strenuous bike ride and really safe. Our guide, Aya, took us to some amazing spots with the tour. She was informative (without being boring), friendly and gave us some good tips on where else to visit in Tokyo. Furthermore, the bikes were so easy to peddle and in excellent condition. Lunch was also delicious. I'd thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to get a good overview of the Shinjuku area.

Our bike tour through Shinjuku was a blast! Not only was it a beautiful day exploring the city but the time we spent walking around the Meiji Shrine was a great experience getting out of the busy parts of the city. We even got to go to a tea shop that’s been run by the same family for generations which was a lovely experience getting to support a small business. Our tour guide Mei was also super knowledgeable, friendly and great to spend the afternoon with.

We had visited the area previously on foot and so I wasn't expecting a lot but was looking forward to the bike ride. I was pleasantly surprised when discovering there was so much more to the area. The commentary was informative and interesting and we saw and did things we would not have done on our own. It turned out to be a very interesting experience and I recommend.

A great way to start your trip to Tokyo with this tour of Shinjuku. Mai is such a great, nice, and knowledgeable tour guide. We had the best time, saw awesome views from the observation deck, had the best lunch (the pork dumplings are sooooo good) and learned a lot about the different neighborhoods and the history of Japan! Highly recommend this tour, 5/5 stars!!!!

Mai was a great host! The tour was very well organized and we got to see 2 different sides of the neighborhood we biked around. The tour was very well paced, and I really appreciated the history we learned that helped give us a good background as we biked around and saw the affects in how people live today. Mai was very thoughtful in making sure the lunch stop was optimized to my dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Had such a great experience and learned so much about Tokyo's history. Loved the views from the top of the government building, saw a traditional Shinto wedding at the Meiji Shrine, learned a lot about Golden Gai and had delicious dumplings. My guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience.

The bike tour was amazing. We went to many interesting places in Shibuya and the tour was very informative. I learnt a lot about Japanese culture. The tour guide did an amazing job in explaining everything and leading the tour.
